BTS Suga fans 'can't stop crying' over goodbye speech as he enlists in military

BTS Suga has wrapped up his first solo world tour and BTS ARMY got a surprise announcement right after the concert ended! Suga aka Min Yoongi is going to enlist in the military and it is making fans “feel things.”

Suga’s solo music concert was truly star-studded, as all BTS members were spotted either on stage or in the audience. From RM to Jimin, K-pop fans also heard some of the solo bangers of recent years. But it was Suga’s final speech that moved celebrity fans to tears.

BTS Suga’s heart-wrenching speech at the end of the solo tour is moving fans to tears as he will enlist in the military soon.

Suga gushed about seeing the happy faces of the BTS ARMY saying it was the most memorable moment for him.

After taking a short pause, he added: “saying “see you soon” would be a lie, so I’ll say see you in 2025. okay, everyone? Wait for a little. see you in 2025. you all worked hard.”

Suga’s enlistment news making fans emotional

While the enlistment date is yet to be confirmed, the BTS rapper’s label announced the military service news on August 7. They stated that the Daechwita crooner is soon joining the military. Suga will be the third BTS member to join the mandatory enlistment service after Jin and J-hope.

The enlistment news shocked BTS ARMY who were not expecting to say goodbye to Yoongi so soon. One emotional fan posted on Twitter: “Future’s going to be okay. We will wait for you, Min Yoongi.”

Another fan wrote: “The one that I have always found solace in, your existence is an utter solace. See you in 2025.”

“I realized that today he was saying goodbye, or at least a “see you in 2025″. I’m not crying because I am sad, but because I am nostalgic and so happy for everything he has achieved since back then,” a sentimental tweet read.

Yoongi is speculated to join public service duty

Concerned BTS fans are also talking about what kind of military duties Suga will be taking up in the upcoming enlistment journey. As the rapper went through critical surgery two years back, ARMY thinks that the BTS member will be joining public service duty.

One fan explained: “Suga will go for public service not active military so he’ll have to serve for 25 months, unlike Jin and J-hope who will be serving 18 months. So if he goes in 2023 December, he’ll be back in Dec 2025.”
