It’s only been a few months since The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes – the prequel novel to The Hunger Games – landed on store shelves. Expectations for the story in Hollywood were so high, though, that a film adaptation for the novel was announced before the book was even publicly available.

The announcement for the prequel film was shortly followed by a spike in Google searches for “The Hunger Games free.” Like most hopeful search queries of its kind, though, the results left fans with little more than old trailers and spammy websites. Thanks to Tubi, however, fans can now get their fix without the malware.

If you’ve yet to discover the Tubi app, you’re in for an absolute treat. The streaming service has a library of more than 23,000 movies and television shows, and everything on the app is free. For the first time since Tubi hit the scene, these offerings now include all four entries into The Hunger Games universe.

We said months ago that The Hunger Games was one of the few book franchises that deserved a Netflix show. While that’s not what we’re getting, no one is going to complain about an all-new film in the series. Unfortunately, very little is known about the project at this time.

Francis Lawrence is confirmed as returning in the role of director, and author Suzanne Collins will join Nina Jacobson as producers. Michael Arndt – who wrote the script for the first sequel – will return as scriptwriter. Unfortunately, that’s about all we know for now.

Thanks to Adventure Academy, you’ve got a little over three weeks to catch this film series on Tubi. Once you’ve finished watching all entries of The Hunger Games free on the service, let us know in the comments how long it took you. We’ve got a running bet on how fast anyone can finish all four films in the series!
